No Flash Point for EnSolv and nPB

Over the years, we've been asked time and time again about the flammability of EnSolv®. Many people find it hard to believe that a cleaning solvent as effective as EnSolv® can actually have zero flash point.

To prove this point and table the discussion, an electronic N-Propyl Bromide (nPB) flash point test was conducted.

- The test was conducted from -15°C to 35°C

- An ignition was provided every .25°C temperature increase

- Conclusively, no flash was seen at any temperature interval

It compares the flash point as seen with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA), a well known flammable liquid, with the lack of a flash point exhibited by N-Propyl Bromide (nPB).
