Dry cleaning is a challenging business. Problems with worker exposure, waste disposal, environmental issues, regulations, restrictions – the list goes on and on. And that’s before you even clean a garment! All of this continues to make it difficult to provide a low-cost service to the dry cleaning customer. The available replacement choices are few, and unlike other alternatives, DrySolv™ is one that actually works! In numerous laboratory and independent cleaning performance tests, pilot studies, and over 3 years of continual customer usage, DrySolv™ has proven that it cleans equal to, if not better than, PERC in all dry cleaning applications; all while doing it with less energy, less time, less environmental impact, less waste, less solvent usage, less….well, less everything. And you know what they say, “sometimes less is more.” So take a minute out of your busy day and use this website to educate yourself on DrySolv™. It may be the “solution” you’ve been looking for.

Replacing Perc without compromising cleaning performance has been a long-standing problem among the professional cleaning world. Problem solved.....with DrySolv.
DrySolv™ is a patented dry cleaning solvent that is non-chlorinated, non-flammable, non-hazardous, and is vastly more environmentally responsible than PERC. It is a direct replacement for PERC and other cleaning chemicals in the dry cleaning industry that works in your existing PERC dry cleaning machine. Research has shown DrySolv™ to be superior to PERC in that it cleans better, and cleans faster. Because DrySolv™ is non-hazardous, costly issues such as environmental compliance and waste disposal of PERC are eliminated or significantly reduced.
Being “Green” has never been easier with DrySolv. The first environmentally responsible replacement solvent for your dry cleaning machine!

Get a “green” advantage over your competitors with DrySolv™, the simple replacement for PERC. The dry cleaning industry demands perfection in the service it provides. In a world without Perc, what alternative will you chose?
EnSolv Spec 490 Additive
Keep Your EnSolv 5408 Cleaning at Optimum Levels
Approved by Boeing to Re-Condition your EnSolv 5408
With Enviro Tech EnSolv Spec 490 Stabilizer Additive, you can keep your EnSolv 5408 bath well within Boeing's spec and lasting longer than ever. Although it's not required due to the superior lifespan and stability of the patented EnSolv 5408 cleaning solution, Boeing has approved the addition of Spec 490 to maintain your solvent within specification per PSD 6-62.
A 5 gallon pail of Spec 490 contains enough of the patented EnSolv 5408 stabilizer package to bring at least 55 gallons of EnSolv 5408 back to like new levels of stability and conditioning. But the bottom line is, you probably will never need to add it because EnSolv 5408 is THAT stable. We do recommend keeping one 5-gallon pail on hand in case of emergencies though.

General Instructions
Before adding Spec 490 Stabilizer Additive to EnSolv 5408, the acid acceptance level of the solvent should be determined using an Acid Acceptance Test Kit, available from Enviro Tech. If the solvent’s acid acceptance level is low (e.g., 0.19 weight percent sodium hydroxide or less), either fresh EnSolv 5408 or Spec 490 can be added to restore it to an acid acceptance level that is equal to or greater than 0.25 weight percent sodium hydroxide (See the Acid Acceptance test instructions link on the left for more information). Follow the recommendations on the B oeing PSD 6-62 specification in all cases. If acid acceptance falls to 0.10 weight percent NaOH or less, discard the EnSolv 5408 bath and replace with fresh solvent. Contact Enviro Tech International for assistance in disposing of spent EnSolv 5408, in many cases FREE OF CHARGE. EnSolv 5408 should never be allowed to turn acidic. The acidic condition could become evident by a reddish brown solvent color, an acrid solvent odor, or a low pH of, for example 3.0 or less.
