The Best nPB Solvent Available is now Boeing Approved

Enviro Tech International has been a pioneer in the development of environmentally friendlier aerospace vapor degreasing solutions. Our EnSolv-5408 nPB vapor degreasing solvent formula was subjected to a grueling series of tests by Boeing Corporation over a span of nearly 3 years to ensure that it measured up to the cleaning capabilities of the time tested solvents Trichloroethylene and Perchloroethylene. TCE and PERC had been the only solvents permitted to vapor degrease critical aerospace parts under the BAC 5408 vapor degreasing specification for decades. EnSolv-5408 is, in fact, the ONLY nPB solvent formula approved under this specification. If it was the only nPB solvent good enough to be trusted by Boeing shouldn't it be good enough for you?

Green Your Supply Chain and Reduce Water and Energy Consumption

There are certain industries where cleaning processes and standards are so critical that water based processes simply have too many drawbacks to be considered feasible. Certain aerospace applications demand vapor degreasing with solvents to meet these standards and water based cleaning methods simply will not get the parts clean enough and prevent corrosion.

What makes EnSolv 5408 Better for the Environment than the Solvents it's Designed to Replace?

EnSolv-5408 requires substantially less energy and water to operate than TCE and PERC, the solvents it was designed to replace, which saves on energy costs and reduces CO2 emissions generated by the burning of fossil fuels to produce the electricity required to use them. Because EnSolv-5408 boils at a lower temperatures than TCE and PERC, it requires less water usage as well, which means that less of the water meant for people to drink and for crops to grow is consumed by industrial cleaning processes. In terms of environmental impact, EnSolv-5408 has far less environmental impact than TCE or PERC as well. Below is a table comparing the environmental and regulatory profiles of EnSolv-5408 vs TCE and PERC.
