NEXT Generation Solvents

Before the invention and use of fluorinated cleaning solvents (also known as Hydro Fluoro Ethers), chemicals such as CFCs, HFCs, PFCs were depleting the ozone layer. This led to the development of fluorinated solvents, which allow for a more environmentally responsible cleaning, heat transfer and testing across a myriad industries.

Enviro Tech is proud to be an industry leader once again as a supplier of NEXT 3000 and EnSolv® NEXT solvents, alternatives to chlorinated and brominated vapor degreasing solvents. These new formulations replace chemicals such as HCFC-225 (AK-225), trichloroethylene (TCE), n-propyl bromide (nPB) and more, offering advantages such as lower ozone depletion potential (ODP), higher KB value, lower toxicity and less governmental regulation.

Environmentally Responsible Solvents

NEXT 3000 is classified by the U.S. EPA as an environmentally acceptable substitute for ozone-depleting chemicals. Its exceptional stability makes it an excellent candidate for solvent recovery and recycling programs.

Promoting a Safer Workplace

Our fluorinated solvents also contribute to workplace and employee safety. Peer-reviewed research has shown that NEXT 3000 has exceptionally low toxicity for an industrial solvent.

NEXT 3000 and EnSolv® NEXT have very little odor, and evaporate quickly after cleaning or degreasing. These products are nonflammable and stable. NEXT products simply decompose upon exposure to heat or flame. They do not require acid acceptance testing or stabilizer additions.

NEXT 3000 Brand Fluorinated Solvent

This high-trans fluorinated blend is formulated to meet a wide range of precision cleaning needs. NEXT 3000 is perfectly suited for vapor degreasing in existing equipment, cold wiping applications, oxygen cleaning and many other functions. It is a nonflammable cleaning fluid that can also be used as a carrier fluid for deposition of materials such as silicone and other lubricants.

NEXT 5408 Fluorinated Solvent

This product is a BAC 5408 Boeing-approved, nonflammable, stabilized 1,2 trans dichloroethylene-based solvent. NEXT 5408 boasts exceptionally low human toxicity compared to the vast majority of aerospace solvents on the market today. NEXT 5408 was created for the replacement of trichloroethylene, perchloroethylene, 1,1,1-trichloroethane and n-propyl bromide in aerospace vapor degreasing.

EnSolv® NEXT Brand Fluorinated Solvent

Like NEXT 3000, EnSolv® NEXT is a high-trans fluorinated solvent. This means that EnSolv® NEXT is a nonflammable cleaning solvent,  and boasts an ozone depletion potential of zero. Unlike NEXT 3000, EnSolv® NEXT is specifically manufactured for degreasing applications outside the vapor degreaser, such as cold wiping, aerosol spraying and refrigerant flushing.
